This is the roots of our products, this is where it all started. This formula, like all of our formulas, is a true precision blend of oils to make a true bait and lure enhancer. This oil starts with the sweet smell of pure anise which we blend with a natural baitfish oil and also with a bite stimulant oil that targets the aggressive feeding nature of salmon. We then took a non scented carrier oil that was an in-between viscosity of the other oils to blend it all together to make one product. This blending process is precise, so the oils will not separate and will stay true to form every time!
"As a professional fisherman and Northwest fishing guide, I, Shane Magnuson have had the opportunity to test many of the fish attractants that are available to the public. Although these products increased my fishing success, I felt that an attractant could be formulated for specific species, which would stick to the lure longer and create a scent stream that draws fish to your bait and makes them STRIKE! Guiding full-time gave me the opportunity to test and experiment on a daily basis. Graybill's Guide formulas are the result of my experience."

These oils are all environment safe and all natural. We prefer the dipping or overnight marinating process when it comes to applying our scents. Remember that a natural oil stays together in water longer and does not get broken down by the water because the better it stays together the more fish will get to smell it! Also for peak effectiveness, we recommend washing your hands before handling all baits, wearing nitrile gloves if you can. We recommend washing all lures and gear every time after use so the next time out fishing and applying Graybill's Guide Scents, you are getting the best scent trail possible. Think about what you may touch and end up transferring to your gear. Maybe think about not petting the dog until you are done baiting, being careful with that dirty old fish rag that has been in the boat for days, or putting on those gloves when at the gas pump in the morning fueling up. Try and keep rods, tackle and bait covered up when going down the road to keep any road grime (gas, diesel, oil, deicer, leakage) from all vehicles off your equipment. Enjoy the use of our products and go catch more fish!
